PhotoScout is in beta. By using it, you accept these terms. The short version: verify AI-generated information before traveling, don’t abuse the service, and we’ll tell you before anything material changes.
Features may change without notice, downtime is possible, and the data you create may be lost. Export anything you cannot afford to lose.

Acceptance
By using PhotoScout (“the Service”) you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Beta service
PhotoScout is currently in beta. That means:
- Features may be added, modified, or removed without notice
- Downtime and interruptions are possible
- Data loss can occur — export trips you cannot afford to lose
- Performance and reliability vary
- Feedback is welcomed and acted on

What the Service does
PhotoScout is an AI-assisted photography trip planner. It helps you discover spots, draft itineraries with light and weather data, and produce interactive plans.

Pricing
Free during the beta. Paid plans may follow — you will be notified before any change takes effect. Free features available during the beta are not guaranteed to remain free after the beta ends.

Accounts
Some features require sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that happens on your account.

Deleting your account
You can delete your account and all associated data from the Settings page. When you do:
- You receive an email confirming the request
- Data is permanently removed within 14 days
- A final confirmation is sent when deletion completes
- Trips, conversations, and plans are gone — the action is irreversible

Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt unauthorized access
- Disrupt or interfere with the Service
- Upload malicious code or content
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Generate harmful or misleading content
- Excessively load the AI features

AI-generated content
Itineraries are produced by AI and may contain errors. Verify coordinates, access rules, drone regulations, and weather windows before traveling. PhotoScout is not liable for the consequences of relying on AI output without verification.

Intellectual property
The Service and its content, features, and functionality are owned by PhotoScout and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a license to store and process that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We make no promises about uninterrupted availability, security, or accuracy.

Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PhotoScout is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service — including damages related to travel plans, missed opportunities, or reliance on AI output.

Travel safety
Recommendations are informational. You are solely responsible for your safety. Check local conditions, weather, and advisories. Some spots involve real risk — exercise judgment.

Service modifications
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. Terms may also be updated; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Termination
We may suspend or terminate access immediately for material breach of these Terms or for operational reasons. Upon termination your right to use the Service ends.

Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
