FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS · HOUSE RULES

How we treat photographers’ work.

PhotoScout is built by a photographer, for photographers. These are the rules the platform holds itself to.

01 · PRINCIPLE

Attribution first

Every map, guide, or tour listed on PhotoScout names its creator and links straight to their own site. Purchases happen there, not here — no middleman checkout, no commission, no copied product content.

02 · PRINCIPLE

We never copy photos

Photos on PhotoScout come from our own licensed catalog sources, with attribution. We do not scrape or re-host photographers’ images. Directory descriptions are written by us — never lifted from a creator’s shop.

03 · PRINCIPLE

External data stays external

When we reference community spot databases, we store links and credits — not their content.

04 · PRINCIPLE

AI that sends traffic to you

Our planner’s job is to get photographers to the right place at the right light. When a creator’s map or guide covers a destination better than we do, the right answer is to point at it.
